AVROTROS heeft de ambitie om succesvol te willen blijven op het grootste muziekpodium van Europa, het Eurovisie Songfestival en deelt graag hieronder de mogelijkheid voor artiesten/songwriters om in contact te komen met de omroep en haar songfestival selectiecommissie.
Ambitie van AVROTROS en selectiecommissie
De selectiecommissie streeft naar een inzending met bij voorkeur een eigentijdse, maar in elk geval authentieke sound. Een song die in staat is in een competitie te overleven. Door een Nederlandse artiest die op onderscheidende wijze, in welk genre dan ook, een eigen persoonlijke song en zo mogelijk een persoonlijk verhaal wil en kan uitdragen.
De songfestival selectiecommissie 2022 bestaat uit

Een song kan onder de aandacht worden gebracht bij de selectiecommissie door deze rechtstreeks te sturen naar het mailadres: [email protected] Het proces wordt begeleid door hoofd delegatie van Nederland, Lars Lourenco. Via dit mailadres kunnen tevens vragen worden gedeeld.
AVROTROS of de selectiecommissie zet geen traject(en) in met een artiest/songwriter om tot een (eind)product te komen. Er wordt verwacht dat een (demo)song van artiest/songwriter met bovenstaande criteria in een vergaand stadium onder de aandacht wordt gebracht.
Voorwaarden voor insturen song
- Song is overtuigend onderscheidend en voldoet aan bovenstaande beschrijving
- Meerdere songs? Stuur een maximum van de 3 beste songs, geschikt geacht voor het Eurovisie Songfestival
- Song is niet (eerder) (commercieel) uitgebracht voor 1 september 2021
- Song duurt maximaal 3:00 minuten
- Uiterlijke datum van inzending is 31 augustus 2021
Vragen worden zo snel als mogelijk beantwoord. (Tussentijdse) updates worden, gezien de geheimhouding rondom dit project, helaas niet gegeven tot AVROTROS hier zelf mee naar buiten komt.

Ambition of AVROTROS and selection committee
The selection committee aims for an entry with preferably a contemporary, but in any case authentic sound. A song that is able to survive in a competition. By a Dutch artist who can and wants to present a personal song in a distinctive way, in any genre, and if possible a personal story.
The Song Contest Selection Committee 2022

A song can be brought to the attention of the selection committee by sending it directly to the following email address: [email protected] The process will be supervised by Head of Delegation of the Netherlands, Lars Lourenco. Questions can also be shared via this email address.
AVROTROS or the selection committee will not set up a trajectory(s) with an artist/songwriter to come to a (final) product. It is expected that a (demo) song of artist/songwriter with the above criteria will be brought to the attention of the selection committee at an advanced stage.

- Song is convincingly distinctive and meets the above description
- More than one song? Send a maximum of the 3 best songs, considered convincingly fitting for the Eurovision Song Contest.
- Song has not been (commercially) released before 1 September 2021
- Song lasts up to 03:00 minutes
- Final date of submission is 31st August 2021
