Zweden: Loreen
EUPHOOOOOOORIAAAAAAAA!! Ja, Loreen is terug voor het Eurovisie Songfestival 2023. Ze won de nationale voorronde van Zweden, Melodifestivalen, en zal Zweden voor de tweede keer vertegenwoordigen, dit jaar met haar nieuwe song ‘Tattoo’. Ze staat net als Nederland in de eerste halve finale op dinsdag 9 mei.

Optreden van Zweden uit de eerste halve finale
Lorine Zineb Nora Talhaoui, artiestennaam: Loreen, is geboren op 16 oktober 1983 in Stockholm. Haar ouders zijn van Marokkaans-Berberse afkomst.
Melodifestivalen en ‘Euphoria’
Loreen heeft in totaal vier keer meegedaan aan het Melodifestivalen van Zweden, de nationale voorronde op het Songfestival. Het tweede en het vierde jaar won ze.
Met het nummer 'Euphoria' ontving Loreen van achttien landen 12 punten in 2012 en, zoals je vast al weet: Ze won!! Het lied stond wekenlang in heel veel landen op nummer 1 in de hitlijsten.

Waar gaat ‘Tattoo’ van Loreen over?
‘Tattoo’ is een pop/dance track over alles-overstijgende-onbreekbare-liefde. "I don't care about the pain, I'll walk through fire and through rain". Ondanks de pijn wil ze er alles aan doen om bij haar geliefde te blijven. Ze vergelijkt liefde met een tattoo: iets permanents.
