Afgelopen november gaf hij twee uitverkochte concerten in de AFAS Live in Amsterdam. Ook in het buitenland groeit Joosts fanbase. In België stond hij met zijn show in een uitverkochte Lotto Arena in Antwerpen en was hij kandidaat in De Slimste Mens ter Wereld.
Afgelopen zomer scoorde Joost met ‘Friesenjung’ een nummer 1-hit in Duitsland, Zwitserland en Oostenrijk. Het nummer heeft tevens 100 miljoen wereldwijde streams behaald en werd ‘Beste Song’ in Duitsland bij de 1LIVE Krone Radio Awards. Het nummer krijgt ook veel airplay in Italië en Oekraïne.
Eurovisie Songfestival 2024
Het Eurovisie Songfestival vindt dit jaar plaats op 7,9 en 11 mei in Malmö. In 2023 won Loreen in Liverpool voor de zevende keer voor Zweden. Het thema is dit jaar wederom ‘United by Music’.

Joost Klein (26) is a musician, writer and artist. His energetic style combines elements from mainstream pop with happy hardcore and pop punk. In the Netherlands, Joost tours regularly with his band and has played festivals like Lowlands and Pinkpop.
Last November, he had two sold-out concerts at the AFAS Live. Joost's fan base abroad has been growing, too. In Belgium, he performed at the sold out Lotto Arena in Antwerp and was a candidate on the popular TV show De Slimste Mens ter Wereld (The Smartest Person of the World).
Last summer, Joost had a number 1 hit in Germany, Switzerland and Austria with Friesenjung. The song has had over 100 million streams worldwide and won Best Song in Germany's 1LIVE Krone radio awards. The song has also had a lot of airplay in Italy and Ukraine.
Eurovision Song Contest 2024
This year's Eurovision Song Contest will take place on 7, 9 & 11 May in Malmö. In 2023 in Liverpool, Loreen was Sweden’s seventh winner. Once again this year, the theme is 'United by Music'.
